KH:CoM Update 2 Traverse Town first time
Authors note: okay when I say you go through three doors let me explain. you walk around a field and you see doors and you need cards with numbers on them to get through some doors. Like if you have a 15 sum door then you need cars that equal the number 15. Certain doors have a crown on top where you need the number sum and a card with a special symbol on it. I've come to believe that the pattern is 3 such doors to complete a level.
Okay so you're beboping around Traverse Town doing some fighting opening doors. You go through 3 specific doors. The first one starts off with Donald and Goofy critiszing you for fighting alone and you meet Leon. He doesn't know you but he knows your name...which he finds out by accident. Eventually Yuffie shows up and she knows the names but doesn't know who you are. So then Leon gives you a coaching on the fine tuning of the card fighting style.
The second door you meet Areith and she says she doesn't know if she should say please to meet you or I'm glad to see you again. She comes to the conclusion later in the conversation that the reason the others are remembering things like names and some experiences is because Sora's memories in his heart are so strong they are forcing them to remember even if they weren't there.(AKA the scene in Hollow Bastion where Leon and Yuffie are there but not Areith).
In the third door you meet Cid and his memory is in the same state. He says you should get out of Traverse Town because when the bell tower sounds it's all over. So of course the bell sounds and you fight the big heartless you know the one with the floating head and the body parts. You win and basically everyone leaves...and you're about to leave Traverse Town (side note I think I forgot to mention. I mentioned earlier that this town is an illusion based on the team--Sora, Donald, and Goofy's--memories--so each "world" is actually a room in Castle Oblivion) when Aerith comes back...kinda. She says that she realizes she isn't real and that she is and illusion and tells Sora not to be distracted by illusions because he has more important things to do. Donald calls for Sora and when Sora turns to tell Aerith bye she has disaperaed. Donald and Goofy say that no one was there and he was just standing there alone.
You go through a door and you're in a Castle Oblivion hall way. You meet the hooded figure and he tells you that you have forgotten somethign important and when you remember it you may not be who you are now. You meet the Character Axel here. (if you're looking though the net looking for a visualization he's the guy with the spikey red hair) You fight him...I won and he says that he was just testing you and he lets you go about the castle.
You move down the hall and Goofy mentions a few things about the castle and starts talking about Hollow Bastion--but he can't remember what the castle is called and the other two think he's making it up.
From here you can go to either Halloween Town, Wonderland, Monstro, the Colliseum, or Agribah. I decided to stay in the pattern of the first one-Wonderland (by the way I hated Wonderland but I hated Atlantica more)
So you go in and you go through 3 specific doors. When you first get there the White Rabbit nearly runs you over-late and all I suppose:) In the first door Alice is on trial for stealing the Queen of Heart's memory. Sora steps in just like last time and when the Queen says well if Alice didn't do it that who did? Sora sits there and like the brave(stupid) hero that he is he says that he is the thief. You fight and when it's over Alice has run off. More guards come and you run away.
In the second door you find Alice and she says thank you and then you meet the Chessire Cat. Who speaks in riddles like the the queen hasn't forgotten you even if you can't remember her and how the harder someone tries to remember something the memory lies to you to make you believe something. I think most importantly though (for later) the Cat says when you forget something its like it never happened and when something never happened then of course you forget.
In the third door you wind up in the Bizarre Room and the Queen of Hearts starts talking about taking off your head when you get a flash and she stops mid-sentence and goes huh...what was I saying where am I? and then the room starts to flash and you end up fighting the Big Heartless from Wonderland. You know the one with the fire batons...the Trick master I think. So after that the Queen asks who are you and what are the heartless doing here. Alice lies and says that you (the boy, the girl, the duck, and the dog) got there and the queen didn't trust them so she sent you guys to kill the heartless. When Alice says don't you remember the queen gets angry and says of course I remember I never forget anything. And leaves you alone. Alice smiles and says that she took the cats advice and made the queen remember a lie.
You exit that world. back in a Castle hallway after that you all are fighting to remember Hollow Bastion so you ask Jiminy to bring out his journal and see what the place is called but when he does he finds his journal is blank. I think, personally, that the Castle makes the team forget things ^_^--You think? hehe
